Depending on YOUR specific needs, we can work together One-on-one covering all the essential elements of creating, rehearsing (with me as your Director - either in person or on Zoom) and performing your show.
For example, we could work together, for a specified number of weeks, to work on some or all of the elements below:
Depending on how far ahead you are with the writing and structure of the piece, and taking into account the complexity of the particular show, we would work typically over 8, 10 or even 12-15 weeks.
The most important elements to look at though, are the first three – the structuring of both the writing and song placements, and the talking to the audience.
What if I'm not a "real" singer?
Don't worry. You can "speak-sing". Remember Rex Harrison? It's not about having a great voice, but having something to say. The important thing is getting the story across.
What if I don't sing Musical Theatre or jazz? Would any musical style be okay?
Absolutely. It really does not matter what genre you sing, or even if you “speak-sing”. What matters is the story you tell, and how you tell it. You will find my free gift very useful, as this is my guide to choosing the best theme for your show.

- choose and structure the songs into the show
- how to address the audience and be ‘yourself’ in front of them (the 'patter')
- find and choose a Musical Director

For those who don’t know my background, I am an actress and singer and have been producing my own one-woman shows for a number of years, among them Wartime Women:the Khaki Cabaret, which was launched at The Other Palace Theatre, London in July, 2014. I was thrilled to receive 4-star reviews in The Times and Musical Theatre Review, and the show has toured both the UK and Belgium.
Other shows of mine include Looking For Lansbury on the life and heritage of the extraordinary actress Dame Angela Lansbury, and my cabaret chat show Fiona-Jane and West End Friends, featuring fabulous guest artists and theatre creatives from London’s West End and cabaret scene.
I look forward to getting to know you better.
